Following is Bill O'Reilly's response as to why relatively few jobs went to locals in the rebuilding of New Orleans:
"On the rebuilding of New Orleans, you've got to use contractors that can do the job. So, you can't -- you know, if you've got contractors who specialize in infrastructure rebuilding, you've got to bring them in. And the homies, you know, who you don't know -- I mean, they're just not going to get the job."

The racist undertone of bill's respone is just..nauseating..Time for Damon Wayans to reprise his role as homie the clown and pound racism out of bill and those of his listeners who are intolerant of other ethnic groups.

Minty, do you ever read Al Franken's books?
I just borrowed "The Truth (with jokes)" from the Yongsan Garrison library and it had a mention or two of O'Reilly, but it's "Lies, and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them" that really skewers the No-Spin Zone guy.

No, I haven't had the chance to read Al's books yet.
I'm quite familiar with bill's charade so "The Truth (with jokes)" sounds a bit more appealing to me but I'll check both of them out.
