I tried this game, but my internet connection is just too dodgy... Must get more speed!

a18's server(s?) has been iffy for sometime. some users have been experiencing random connection drops since a18 updated to season 2. So this disconnection issue could be contributing to your problem with this game.
I suppose you can try out the jp or kr versions to see if your problem stems from your slow connection, game server issue or combination of both.
